We believe that if more women gain business, social and economic freedom, the world will become a more equal, ethical and balanced place.
Our mission is to make a difference to 1 billion women around the world and empower change at home, in our organisations and in our world.
The Aspire for Equality Pro Bono Mentoring Programme exists to inspire, support and celebrate women working in charities, not for profits and social enterprises to make the world a better place.
It’s a chance for us all to give something back.
Our global network of mentors work with people who are already making a difference in the lives of women and girls, creating a multiplier effect that has already impacted nearly 20 million women worldwide.
Mentees are women from all levels in charities, schools, government and other not for profit and social enterprises around the world.
I’d like to be a Mentor
Mentors are women and men from all levels in corporations and small businesses. While your experience and expertise is valuable, being able to listen, reflect and empathise matters just as much.
You’ll organise your own mentoring sessions, which are typically an hour per month, over a six month period. We offer a brief online orientation programme to get you started and we can support you with any issues you may have.
The rewards and learning that go along with mentoring can be life changing, so if you’d like to give something back, please get in touch or apply now.
Become a mentor
"The mentoring programme is a great idea in terms of the ultimate impact on well-being of women - the multiplier effect is very powerful. I enjoyed being helpful and felt more motivated in my personal and professional life and I also got to know a totally different life!"
Financial Controller, GE Capital, Aspire for Equality Mentor
"I got a lot from mentoring my mentee and particularly from mentoring someone from a different culture. What I valued most from the program was feeling like I might in some small way be helping improve my mentee's quality of life."
Sales Manager, IBM, Aspire for Equality Mentor
